SUMMARY:Gator Dogs Brass Band
DESCRIPTION:An all star horn section\, the Gator Dogs look forward to seeing you on the dance floor.\n\n\nThe Gator Dogs are a New Orleans brass gang from East London. They bring you an explosive party\, spanning Mardi Gras parade anthems to the swampy grooves of Dr John\, via raucous Gospel more suitable for Saturday Night than Sunday Morning. \nWith three percussionists\, a thumping tuba\, as many horns as we can fit on the stage\, and 3 part Gospel harmonies; the Gators bring you infectious grooves\, virtuoso solos and songs you didn’t know you already knew. \nThe Gators love playing raucous speakeasy-style nights at infamous underground cocktail haunts the Oriole and Nightjar; performing for swing dancers at international events; and blasting the roof off at their Jamboree and the Blues Kitchens residencies\, where they keep the brassy party going well into the night. They have performed twice at the EFG London Jazz festival\, Shambala\, Rollright Fayre\, and internationally at The Gatsby Parties. In 2020\, they wowed crowds at West End immersive theatre show ‘Lockdown Town’\, receiving multiple 5* reviews across national media. \nHannah (percussion/vocals) has lived on/off in New Orleans since 2015\, recently studying drums with New Orleans legends Herlin Riley and Shannon Powell. George Simmonds (trombone/tuba/vocals) has performed with the infamous Glen David Andrews\, and Louise Balkwill (everything) is currently collaborating with New Orleans’ legend Leroy Jones on an original single. Backed up by Ed Ashby on Tuba\, (Hackney Colliery Band\, Brass Roots\, Royal Shakespeare Company)\, and an all star horn section\, the Gator Dogs look forward to seeing you on the dance floor. \nENTRY £2 to secure tables in music area \nTable booking is advised due to limited capacity

SUMMARY:Jaz Delorean Trio at The Magic Garden
DESCRIPTION:Live music is finally back at The Magic Garden with acoustic sit down gigs in may\n\n\nJAZ DELOREAN TRIO \nJaz Delorean is a London based British singer\, with a colourful past and a fascinating present. The songs that he sings and plays on the piano are tender observations of our fragile and sometimes twisted existence. Strange things happen in dreams\, but stranger things can happen in waking life\, and Jaz Delorean has never shied away from baring his tattered soul to anyone willing to listen. He’ll pull at your heartstrings\, and get you dancing to the rhythms of his fingers\, before skulking off into the blackness behind the neon carnival lights. \n  \nJaz Delorean is the lead singer and pianist from tearaway live band Tankus the Henge.
